Artistic, religious and cultural traditions unite in our Shankha design. The handwoven fabric reproduced here is an expression of the weaver’s cultural heritage. The name “shankha” refers to the conch shell, one of the Eight Auspicious Symbols of Buddhism. The shell represents “fearlessly proclaiming the truth of dharma.”
